Re: The Firefly
LOL, um, sorry to break it to you, but episode 3x12 is an 'over there' episode. The press release said so.

NOOOOOOOOOO. Where'd it say that? I never saw anything about Walternate or Fauxlivia...

Re: The Firefly
Where is this clip of Peter jumping off the roof? I don't remember it at all!
I can't remember which one it was from, but it was in one of the promo videos that came out before Firefly aired. I think it was the one where the team were also in hazmat suits? Just a second long clip of him leaping from one roof to another - it looked similar to the roof scenes in Firefly so I had forgotten about it.

Actually it's not!
That's 3x13.
3x12 has the team in hazmat suits and that weird exploding blue gas case.

;D
That's okay though because it means that we get another week of Peter recovering on screen, if he needs it, before going over there.

I wish they'd release pics of episode 12, so we'd know what kind of facial damage to be expecting.
ROFL I hadn't gif'd it because of how short it was, but here:
This has been interesting me. I want to know what Peter's doing :')

Thanks! Interestingly enough, no gloves during the jump.
And what is going on with the Children Of the Corn shit in the picture? So random.

I'm thinking they're both from 3x12 :')
We know from the synopsis of 3x12 that it's about blue stuff exploding and in the promo, we see blue powder-y stuff exploding from big drum things xD They're the same drums in the circle that Peter's stood in. I guess the busting into a house/Peter jumping form house clips could be from them chasing a suspect in that episode? :')
Re: The Firefly
WTAF.
I'm so confused now. I mean, between the gloves, the gun, the roof, that strange picture, the MD situation, and that guy attacking Peanut.....it just seems like a lot to fit into an episode.
Not that I'm complaing (:
Also, does anybody else remember the Olivia in a dress thing? I know a few of you don't care so much but I'm still trying to figure out what it is.
OH MY GENE I SWEAR FRINGE WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME.

They're from two episodes. The gloves/gun, MD and attacked Peter is from next week's. The barrels thing is from the following episode, and we are assuming that is also where the roof Peter clip is from as well.

I'm thinking, MD, leather gloves, strange gun and guy attacking Peter is 3x11 and roof, strange picture and Olivia in dress is 3x12 xD
ROFL! You watching the seizure scene again, Rachel? Good catch on the hand glyph! *_________* I would not have found that!

LOL. I thought that too. It needs to be bigger!
Now that you've teased me with that picture, I'm off to rewatch the seizure scene a couple thousand more times.
I was up til 2am last night JUST REWATCHING THAT SCENE.

Re: The Firefly
IT'S NOT OUR FAULT.
OMG BUT IT WAS SO EXTENDED. AND POOR, DEAR WALTER ALMOST COULDN'T REMEMBER WHERE HE'D LEFT THE MEDICINE AND PETER COULD HAVE DIED THERE ON THE FLOOR.
Also, I am very worried about our Peanut. As people keep pointing out in the forums, the mention of rosemary in his soup did seem like a very nasty foreshadowing. No way that was conincidental. And there was WAY too much near-death Peter in this episode. I am worried for his future, or whatever storyline it is going to lead into. Not necessarily that he will DIE, but I do think before the end of season three he is going to barely escape it again. And I have a nasty feeling that it might be the writers fall-through plan if they get cancelled this season - set up Peter as a sacrificial lamb, if we get renewed there is a twist planned in the plot for Peter to be able to survive ... if we get cancelled, he gets into that machine, restores both universes damage, and is the only casualty.

What the what about rosemary? I'm confused.

Re: The Firefly
There's a lot more they have posted about it, but here's a snippet from Wikipedia (empasis mine):
"Rosemary has a very old reputation for improving memory, and has been used as a symbol for remembrance (during weddings, war commemorations and funerals) in Europe and Australia.[8] Mourners would throw it into graves as a symbol of remembrance for the dead. In Shakespeare's Hamlet, Ophelia says, "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance." (Hamlet, iv. 5.) "
Basically, it can be seen as a symbol of death.
And with the day Peter had just had, and the entire plot of this episode, and the comments the Observers make after this scene ....... that's in there on purpose. And it worries me. :\

Re: The Firefly
I'm rewatching the episode with my parents right now. I may or may not start flailing when Peter has his seizure {:
And I bought the episode on iTunes so I can watch him having a seizure whenever I want to again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again...

Re: The Firefly
I'm convinced if they aren't renewed soon they'll end s3 with Peter getting into the machine and leave us hanging. If they're renewed they can get him out, if we're canceled they can say "Yeah he destroyed both worlds somehow".
IDK it just seems like a bastardy thing they'd do -_-

Or they'd cut it off halfway through a scene just to really annoy us.
