The amount of slagging off going on during that scene at breakfast was just like "Really?!" even before he got the last word in. I don't even. Some people don't deserve his glory.
It annoyed me when next week's promo aired and everyone was like "OMJ, IT'S DESTINY!" which I totally get, don't get me wrong, but it's like the Polivia relationship is undermining what next week's ep is really about - the effects of what being kidnapped and abused and dragged across worlds has on a seven year old boy.

It's like there's one rule for Olivia and another for Peter. I get what you mean about the fandom, it's just so irritating.

And Leressa, Peter could be having a breakdown on the floor in the supermarket on his own and Olivia would still get all of the sympathy.

Argg, this. Screw the relationship, HOW screwed up is Peter in those previews? Oh my GOD. No WONDER he would rather have stayed in Iraq than see his father in the Pilot. He was TRAUMATISED.

Oh and I can't wait to see how they explain him losing THOSE memories ... methinks car batteries might be involved. Because it would take something strong to erase that kind of horror for that poor young boy.

How frightening must it be for a little boy who has just come back from the brink of death only to find he's not with his parents anymore but two strangers who look like them who won't take him home and are hooking him up to God knows what and then he's not even in his world anymore and he's seven fucking years old.
Theory - What Walter did to make him forget, to make him believe Walter and Elizabeth were his real parents, could have somehow affected his lack of ability to tell Olivia and Altlivia apart. Whatever Walter did affected Peter's ability to tell his parents apart from the ones on this side... just a crackpot theory.

Um... this is the most amazing theory I've heard in a long time. It would make a whole lot of sense, and would explain Peter being fucking retarded for 8 weeks.

I really, really want to know how they're going to go about this episode though. Is it just suddenly an entire episode of flashback with nothing 'transporting' us there? It seems that way to me, but I would prefer if it was started by something in present day between the characters (fingers effing crossed Peter and Walter) that takes us back here. IDK I want Peter in the tank.

I really wanna rewatch IWWMMJ now. I miss when Fringe was good, Jones was alive, and Peter was being tortured by his father. xD
I think/hope Walter'll sit down with Peter and just tell him everything... AND THAT THE ENTIRE EPISODE IS NOT BASED AROUND PETER AND OLIVIA'S DESTINY.
Maybe Peter gets fucked up by Big Eddie and in his near death-ness he has a flashback... xD

My hope was always that Peter would have these vivid nightmares that had him waking up in cold sweats and being sick, only it was his memories resurfacing in his dreams. He'd be so fucked up.
Plus, imagine if Peter was in the tank and he was remembering being on the frozen lake with Walter and he just whispered "You're not my father, are you?" and Walter, listening to him on the outside, just broke down. If Peter got memories back of the pain of when he was being electrocuted, he could be thrashing around and confused and screaming *_*
