Does anyone else think it's weird that the FBI are just up and letting their SOLE hope to universal survival run around on cases where there is the potential for him to get his head blown off?

I HAD THIS THOUGHT A WHILE AGO! It wasn't really about him being killed, but I thought that now Olivia knows Walternate has Cortexiphan, (plus more power and money available than them) he could just come over any time, take Peter, and be gone in five minutes. You'd think they'd have thought this through.

I don't think Peter would like going into any form of protective custody, he's too attached now, too desperate for answers and understanding. It would be nice for them to show they care, though.

I mean we all know if he was forced into doing something like that, he'd find a way out, but the fact they're not even trying is absurd. None of the characters are taking him or the machine seriously.
