WHAT IF MATHIS WAS SAT WITH HIM IN THE CAFE WHILE THEY WERE WAITING FOR WALTER AND OLIVIA AND SHE LEFT FOR A MOMENT TO MEET THEM OUTSIDE. WHILE HE WAS ALONE THE WAITRESS BROUGHT PETER SOUP, ONLY IT WAS TOMATO AND IT LOOKED A HELLUVA LOT LIKE BLOOD SO HE'S SAT THERE IN THE CUBICLE, FROZEN, SHAKING, AN EMOTIONAL MESS AND HAVING FLASHBACKS. WHEN THEY WALK BACK IN THEY COULD GO OVER TO HIM AND TRY TO GET HIS ATTENTION AND WHEN HE FINALLY LOOKS UP, HIS EYES ARE TEARING UP AND HE SAYS "I KILLED THEM. I KILLED THEM ALL."

AND HE'S CONVINCED HE'S A DANGER TO EVERYONE, SO HE GETS UP AND TRIES TO LEAVE, BUT MATHIS JUST GRABS HIM AND IS LIKE "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? YOU'RE GOING TO STAY RIGHT HERE AND TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON." ONLY NICE, LIKE MATHIS DOES.
SO SHE MAKES HIM SIT DOWN AND TALK TO HER AND HE DOESN'T EVEN REALIZE WALTER AND OLIVIA ARE THERE BECAUSE MATHIS IS BEING NICE TO HIM AND NOT MANY PEOPLE ARE NICE TO HIM ;_;

AND WALTER AND OLIVIA STAY QUIET BECAUSE THEY REALIZE HOW MUCH PETER TRUSTS MATHIS, SHE WAS THERE FOR HIM BOTH TIMES HE LOST HIMSELF <3

I just looked up the symptoms of kidney failure for a fic I'm working on where his disease comes back - ventricular tachycardia is one of them. WAS HIS HEART RATE NORMAL IN RECIPROCITY? NO I DON'T THINK IT WAS.
"Rising urea levels in the blood (uremia) can affect the function of a variety of organs ranging from the brain (encephalopathy) with alteration of thinking." WAS HE THINKING NORMALLY? NOOOO.
Also, difficulty sleeping is a symptom of bird flu, which Walter said was similar to Petah's disease.

Apparently it was atrial tach he was having in the MRI, not ventricular. However, his BP is oddly high and for some reason Walter doesn't make any comment on this. It was like 167/108 or something, which is Stage 2 high blood pressure according to the charts I've found. He did get told to lay off the fatty foods, which was obviously a reference, but then, that doctor was a motherfucking Shapeshifter so he could easily be pretending there was nothing to worry about.

IMO YES.

BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE.

I mean Peter's breakdown is all well and wonderful and everything, but I still don't think it was what Bell was referring to when he said Peter was holding up better than expected. And, AND the writers have friggin' said in an interview video that Peter's HEALTH will become a focus.

Now, to me, the word 'health' is not talking about Peter almost getting hit by three cars in succession, shot, and having a seizure from drinking effed up milk - these are all external things that happened TO him, so I don't think it counts. Also, IN HOW MANY WAYS recently are they trying to give us hints about a Mr. Peter Bishop + physical ails connection?

He can't sleep. He looks beyond crappy in the final shot of him in Reciprocity. He's spent way too much time recently being injected, having blood taken, having nosebleeds, headaches, being stuck in MRI machines, having convulsions, having tachycardia and suffering from hypertension (shit, have I missed anything? And lol at this all dating back NO FURTHER THAN THREE episodes ago) ........................ do you think they might be trying to tell us something?

I don't get where all the Peter-health spec is in the other forums.

I mean, really? They're practically taking to us with a hammer to the head and barely any of the fans seem to be going "HMMMMM, I WONDER IF PETER MIGHT GET ILL IN THE NEAR FUTURE? I JUST HAVE THIS ~STRANGE FEELING~ ...".

I don't think that many people pay much attention to Peter's character to realize that maybe there's anything deeper than a craving for sex going on with him. You're right, they've hinted far too much, especially recently, that something's going on with Peter. I can't wait for when it does. Because they have to bring his disease back, they can't just forget it. I'd love for Peter to be dying and Walternate's actually scared about losing his son and Walter's there and the two of them have a face-off before realizing they might need to work together to save Peter. It'll never happen, but I can dream.

Kristin (who does the spoilers) asked on Twitter earlier for people to send questions in so I asked if Peter's disease will be coming back anytime soon. It might not be answered but at least we tried :')

So you know this whole "Dark!Peter" thing? People treating him like he's a completely new character? I HAZ THEORY. We know that the machine and Peter are connected somehow. We know that it can be used for creation and destruction. What if it kinda ~infected Peter to make him less inhibited and more likely to choose destruction? Or, in contrast to everything previously believed, the machine is capable of creation but Peter is the variable that makes it capable of destruction?
